There are so many beautiful locations in Florida to have a wedding, especially right here in Central Florida. When picking a wedding venue, you want to consider how many guests you are inviting and what works for them as well as for you. While you can’t pick a venue that pleases everyone’s travel budgets, it is important to have a wedding that most people can attend without emptying their wallets.
We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful state. With hundreds of beautiful beaches and parks, there are endless options for outdoor weddings. Florida also offers diverse architecture and stunning churches, making picking a wedding venue seemingly easy. Though with an abundance of great options, it can be hard to narrow down your options. This post is going to focus in on outdoor Central Florida venues that offer great prices as well as beautiful photo ops!
Kraft Azalea Garden: Winter Park, FL
This is one of my favorite places in Winter Park. As a photographer, I constantly get asked to do family pictures at this park, it’s a crowd favorite. This park has beautiful cypress trees towering over the area on the shore of Lake Maitland and a stunning structure called “The Exedra” (pictured below) that makes for the perfect wedding spot. The park is open all year from 8 am to dusk. You can call 407-599-3339 to reserve the location and ask any further questions you have about this lovely and hidden Central Florida treasure.
Maitland Civic Center: Maitland, FL
Known as the “Venue on the Lake”, this location can double as a ceremony and reception location. Weddings can be held on Lake Lily or in the center facing the charming lake and park. The center features an indoor reception area as well as an outdoor terrace that can host reception just a easily. With a perfect view of the lake, this location is convenient and affordable for any couple. I have booked this location for a reception before and it was fantastic. You can call 407-647-2111 to check out this great find of a venue!
The Alfond Inn: Winter Park, FL
This hotel located right next to Rollins College in Winter Park is undeniably stunning. With a variety of spaces, including a conservatory, the Inn is very versatile and will complement any wedding theme, Although this venue is a little pricey, if you have the money I would spend it here. The hotel provides both indoor and outdoor locations that can hold up to 2000 guests. This venue also conveniently provides catering and alcohol for your wedding. Being a hotel, it gives traveling guests the perfect place to stay, and placed right in the Park Avenue area, there is plenty to do a see. I would highly recommend this gorgeous location, and you can further look into it by calling 407-645-6670 ext.1.

I would hope that with these three outdoor options, you have found your location for your special day, or maybe have a bit of a better idea of what you would like. In Florida, there is a beautiful spot everywhere you turn, so don’t stress! You’ll find your perfect wedding spot soon enough!
